Melt delivers more than just sales and PR
Melt is an all-encompassing approach to managing brands and communicating them to the market. We believe that to truly succeed as a fashion brand, functions such as strategic sales, product placement, social media management, and market planning must be fulfilled.
Melt adopts a methodology that seamlessly binds a client’s head office to ours, making Melt an integral part of their business and not just a third party entity.
Melt aims to preserve a brand’s integrity and values by managing each individual vendor as a separate business within the business, making the Melt office an extension of theirs.
Our public relations team has implemented innovative press strategies to introduce our brands to and ignite interest from an array of media outlets, including international, national and regional mainstream and independent magazines, online publications, fashion blogs, and broadcast media. Additionally, we manage events, such as media launches and fashion shows, each of which are coordinated and executed using a unique and carefully devised event guide, and celebrity seeding, wherein we give a brand the distinct advantage of having an influential public figure wear pieces from their collection.
Our marketing team is responsible for creating core concepts on which a brand’s media strategy is based each season; an umbrella under which all PR, sales and social media efforts will fall. Marketing functions include both inbound and outbound marketing, such as search engine optimization, blogging, coordinating giveaways, genesis/brand strategy, and social media management (Facebook, Twitter and so on). We specialize in aiding international brands discover and target their US market, and helping American brands expand their reach worldwide.
Our sales team has established lucrative relationships with international department stores, major online retailers, chain stores, and specialty boutiques. Sales functions include but are not limited to Strategic Planning, New Business Development, Showroom and Off-Site Sales, Reorders/In-Season Sales, Market/Competitor Reports, Trade Show Coordination and Execution, Lookbooks, Linesheets, Brand Bio/Profile Assistance, Sales Order Entry, Department Store/Key Account Negotiation, Product Training for Retailers, and Visual Merchandising.
Melt Management is an extension of each client’s head office and, thus, using our all-encompassing approach, we perform a number of business management-related tasks. This includes but is not limited to devising business models and plans, building critical paths, and third party logistics. By using resources that are available effectively and efficiently, we are able to accomplish the goals set out by each client at the start of every season.
Melt offers comprehensive creative services in-house so there is no need to outsource. We conceive the concept, direction and feel for your look books, then shoot, edit and assemble your look books. Handling this directly for you rather than outsourcing provides a far better service that is more in-touch with your brands identity, while showcasing the season’s pieces in a unique and eye-catching way.
We not only represent your brand, we management it. From new companies who are establishing their DNA to existing ones who are evolving, the team at Melt will ensure your vision is projected in all aspects, including logo design or redesign, website creation, runway and trade show production and even the little things, like hang tag designs.
